Zinaida Manžuch was appointed as Director of the Centre for Quality Assessment in Higher Education (SKVC)

As from today, the Centre for Quality Assessment in Higher Education (SKVC) has a new permanent leader. According to the Order of the Minister of Education, Science and Sport, Ms Zinaida Manžuch was appointed as the Director of the SKVC for a five-year term starting from 2nd January of 2025. She was elected after winning a contest for the SKVC Director's vacancy announced by the Ministry of Education, Science and Sport in 2024. 

Having been a lecturer and researcher at Vilnius University for 16 years, Zinaida Manžuch is knowledgeable about the Lithuanian higher education system and has built competencies in curriculum development and analysis. Her work as a manager at the Lithuanian Audiosensory Library and Vilnius University has allowed her to gain expertise in strategic management, partner networking, analysis and optimal organisation of internal processes and project management. During the last four years, Zinaida Manžuch has worked for a consultancy company, developing studies on policy and legislation implementation for the European Commission and other European Union institutions in the environmental and social domains.


I am honoured to join the staff of the Centre for Quality Assessment in Higher Education (SKVC), which has a long experience in assessing the performance of higher education institutions and curricula, ensuring the free movement of people between countries for study and employment, and contributing to the developing the legislation on research and studies. Together with the Centre's community, we will strengthen its role in promoting a quality culture in Lithuanian higher education institutions, increase the application of the Centre's analytical information for strategic decisions on quality in Lithuanian higher education, and improve the quality and reach of its services“ - says the new director of SKVC Zinaida Manžuch.
