Online AR-GO Automatic Recognition Tool is Launched
18 June 2025 was a special day for holders of higher education qualifications awarded in Baltic and Benelux countries, marking the launch of AR-GO (Automatic Recognition To GO) portal. You can easily find it here https://ar-go.online/. This project is designed to support the practical implementation of the agreement on automatic recognition of higher education qualifications between the Baltic and Benelux countries.
The portal features a newly developed online tool designed to support practical implementation of the groundbreaking agreement on the automatic recognition of higher education qualifications among the Baltic and Benelux countries. The automatic recognition treaty — signed in 2021 by Belgium, Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg and the Netherlands is the first agreement of its kind in the European region. It simplifies the cross-border recognition process for qualifications earned in any of the six participating countries.
AR-GO portal acts as a central access point, delivering clear, standardized information on national qualifications, their status and rights, and comparability across education systems. It also links to relevant national sources, helping users — whether graduates, employers, or academic institutions — generate and print tailored qualification comparability statements. The platform is a key tool for ensuring the effective, transparent, and consistent application of automatic recognition under the agreement.
The portal is maintained by ENICs-NARIC centres of the signatory countries.
