SKVC temporarily headed by Deputy Director Aurelija Valeikienė

As of 10 August 2026, Deputy Director Aurelija Valeikienė will be Acting Director of the Centre for Quality Assessment in Higher Education (SKVC) until the Minister of Education, Science and Sport of the Republic of Lithuania issues an order appointing a new permanent head.

A. Valeikienė will ensure the continuity of the organization's activities since Dr. Zinaida Manžuch decided not to continue working at SKVC. The interim period will last until the order of the Minister of Education, Science and Sports of the Republic of Lithuania is signed, appointing a permanent Director. The SKVC‘s Director is elected and appointed in accordance with the procedure established by the Civil Service Law of Lithuania.
