AR2030: Automatic Recognition in the European Education Area 2030

AR2030 (Automatic Recognition in the European Education Area 2030) project supports the implementation of the European Education Area (EEA) objectives related to automatic mutual recognition of qualifications and fair, transparent and efficient recognition procedures. It builds on the results of earlier recognition projects and addresses gaps identified by the European Commission in the implementation of the 2018 Council Recommendation on automatic recognition.

Main expected results of the project:

  • Expanded implementation of the “Spotlight” self-assessment tool in higher education institutions. Two versions of the “Spotlight” tool are available: the short version (“Companion”) and the full version (“Full Version”). The full version is available as “Improved Recognition” (in English) and “Improved Recognition: A Self-Assessment Tool” (in Lithuanian). The short version is “Improved Recognition: The Self-Assessment Tool Companion” (Improved_recognition_Self-assessment_tool_companion.pdf).
  • Updated and further translated EAR-HEI Manual.
  • Increased use of the EHEA Qualifications Table for automatic recognition.
  • A new version of the Micro-Evaluator application for recognition of micro-credentials.
  • A compendium of good practices for national information centres.
  • A reflection paper on information sharing and pooling of expertise among ENIC-NARIC centres.
